A PLACE TO CELEBRATE

After 6 weeks of Melbourne’s dry heat,
and some seductively beautiful days, these last two weeks
of Kuching’s annual hot, wet and grey grimness finally rewarded
this Crooked Man with a brief, day long respite that was also a Sathuday.
A day traditionally dedicated to manifestations of a slight madness and
financial irresponsibility; the day for celebrating the week past,
and for reflection on the week to come.
