Ban Nai Wang Mosque ~ Naiyoong Phangna Thailand in the 1990’s

Good Morning Nongta,
I woke this morning with the beginning
of a plan for my next six months. My contract finishes here
(in Kuching) at the end of December. I am returning to Melbourne
to start work back there in February. Maybe I don’t want to work in
a job anymore but there’s bills to be paid – obligations to fulfill.
I’m thinking of going back to Phuket – the Village – in October,
around the 16th because I have a break from teaching
for about a week. Because I want
to see it – the Village.
Maybe there’ll be
people who still remember me but anyway
I’ll have all my memories to meet there.
When you’re old enough as you know,
every journey is of and
for the heart.
Everyone calls the Village
different names. I’ve always called it
Naiyoong. I’m hoping you can let me know the name
of the mosque as it seems Google maps can find
mosques.Finding Phuket is easy but it would
help to know what everyone else and
Google calls the Village?
Anyhow that’s what I’m
thinking this morning. It may not
happen but sharing my thoughts
helps make it seem more
like a plan.

Hello Uncle,
Check first
Phangnga, and then
Takua Tung, then Kokgloy,
then Naiyong.
October
is just a few months away.
Naiyoong (as you call it) will
be my all time No. 1 place
to go back (to).
Home.
Lots of love,
Nongta.
Thank You Sumen Olstad Thongchai (JasmineMalcolm)
